Equine Welfare

The Westchester Horse Council is committed to the welfare of all horses in Westchester County. This includes the assuring that these horses receive proper housing, nutrition, veterinary care, and transportation, as well as humane handling and conditioning.

If you have witnessed horses who appear to be neglected or abused and feel an inquiry is warranted, please contact equinewelfare@westchesterhorsecouncil.org. We will assist in contacting the local law enforcement agencies to facilitate investigation of the situation.
